“ Delicious fried chicken. Really kind of unbelievable. The rest of the menu is very traditional, ya know the Germans love their slow roasted meat and meat loaf. Anyway back to the chicken. Perfect skin. Perfect color. Perfectly salted. As good as any "fried" chicken I've ever had. I don't want to get it confused this is not breaded fried chicken from the land of my birth, but probably a cast iron spatchcocked fried chicken and it was unbelievable. I went with the potato salad instead of yet another fried potato and was delighted I did. Briney slightly sweet flavorful potatoes topped with a handful of parsley and onions. I'd also recommend the sweet chili sauce because it just rounds out the flavor explosion going on. It's a euro and you can afford it. The ambiance isn't beautiful but it's exactly what you want. Warm, wood, tile floor. If you need something more charming get your hiking boots and find an alm in Austria. If you're feeling naughty go next door to the bar "stairs" and get a prohibition style cocktail. Or better. Have another "house mark" beer and sit and watch the old people clean their chickens better than you. I'll be back. You should probably come too. ”
“ One of the rare pubs in Germany with good food! The atmosphere is very traditional and it is a bit bright, but food is tasty and portions are large. Only two negative aspects: The light is quite bright and sometimes you have to wait for a beer quite long. ”
